Thin Cut Dies and Irregular Dots

Hello lovelies!! I'm here with my latest creation for the Itsy Bitsy Design Team.
And all I can say is WOW!! Itsy Bitsy have done it again! They have released 15 new designs of Little Birdie Thin Cut Dies and I have been playing with the Embellished Boot set. In this set, along with the gorgeous embellished boot, comes a lovely selection of leaves and flowers.

And here is what I did...

So, first of all I added a thick layer of 2 in 1 Mixed Media paste through the Irregular Dots stencil.

When the Mixed Media Paste had dried I painted it with Sand Stone Chalk Paint. (I love watching the Little Birdie Chalk Paint change colour as it dries, which is why I prefer to let it air dry.)

When the Mixed Media Paste had dried, I sprayed Mocha Colour Spray over the top, adding the majority of the colour on the bottom left corner. And then adding a light spritz of Gold Nugget Alcohol Splash over the top.

While the Alcohol Splash was drying, I painted a separate piece of card with Wasabi Chalk Paint and gave it a light spray of the Mocha Colour Splash.
I used this piece of card to cut the leaves using the thin cut dies.

I also added some colour to a piece of crochet lace.

I added some stamping over the background using a distressed checkered stamp and brown ink.

I added the lace to the background, some lengths of burlap ribbon and some of the Little Birdie brown assorted flowers. Then added the green die cut leaves to add some colour.

Thank you so much for popping by my blog today. Leave a comment if you wish, your comments do mean a lot to use.

Dancing Hearts

Today's post is for The Artistic Stamper and this Month's theme is 'Anything Goes' which give us all plenty of options to experiment.

So, for this creation I used Tracy Scott's Background 8 stamp and Neil Walker's Heart stamp.

First, I cut two pieces of card, one slightly bigger than the other and stamped over the card multiple times using Tracy's Background 8 stamp. I coloured the smaller one using Shaded Lilac Distress Ink and the larger one using Seedless Preserves Distress Ink.

I then create two mixtures on a craft mat using DecoArt Texture Sand Paste and a smear of Seedless Preserves and one using Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.
I added the two mixtures to a separate piece of card. When it was dry, I torn a piece of the card out to add to the background.

I then stamped Neil's Heart stamp on to a piece of card coloured with Seedless Preserves then cut them out and adhered them to the textured card.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, please leave a comment if you wish, I love to hear your thoughts.
Toodles for now,
